SCULPTURE / 2023

Disparity

One of the triptych series on Women's Rights.

Using the Yin—Yang symbolism of masculine and feminine giving balance, in this sculpture the wires from either side close to the edge are bleached out, the Yang or masculine side the wires are grading longer and dipped in a cool darkening range of purples.

The Yin side is dipped with warmer pale yellow to orange feminine colours. The Yin and Yang don’t slide together and have a larger space in between.
